2025 Football Registration

Football Registration is open early! The earlier you sign up the better for us! 

All practices are located behind Peyton High School. Games are from mid-September through October.

Registration and fees must be paid BEFORE 1st practice in order to play. Code of Conduct and Jersey/Equipment agreement will be due by 1st practice.

PYS supplies: practice jersey, play jersey, shoulder pads, pants and pads for pants. All will need to be returned at end of season.
Player must supply: helmet, cleats, mouth guard

 

Registration costs were kept higher to help cover the cost of replacing and purchasing new equipment/jerseys for all teams.

2024 Football Season Registration

 

Registration and fees are due BEFORE 1st practice in order to play. Returned checks (insufficient funds) will be charged a fee of $20.00. Refunds will only be granted if requested within two weeks after the first practice, and a fee of $5.00 will be deducted from the refund. REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION- only if paying with PayPal. If you registered and would like to pay with PayPal or Venmo after exiting out, Please reach out to peytonyouthsports@gmail.com to get our PayPal/Venmo link.

Warning Statement to parents and guardians………
Although participation in supervised athletics may be one of the least hazardous in which any youth will engage, by its nature, participation includes a risk of injury which may range in severity from minor to long term catastrophic. Although serious injuries are not common in supervised athletic programs, it is impossible to eliminate this risk. Participants have the responsibility to help reduce the risk of injury. Players must obey safety rules, report all physical problems to their coaches, follow a proper conditioning program, and inspect their equipment daily. By registering, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this warning. Parents/Legal Guardians are responsible for any and all fees resulting from a medical emergency.

Parental Waiver
As a parent or legal guardian for the child that I am registering, I hereby understand and agree to the following:
• My child may participate in all practices, games and meeting and any activities associated with this program
• My child is physically fit to participate in this program
• By its nature, competitive athletics may put participants in situations in which serious, catastrophic and perhaps fatal accidents may occur.
• I assume all risks and hazards incidental to such participation, including transportation to and from these activities.
• Peyton Youth Sports Club, Inc. is not responsible to provide accidental insurance for the players, and any such coverage I deem necessary is my responsibility.
• I hereby waive, release, resolve indemnify and hold harmless the Peyton Youth Sports Club, Inc., any other league with which we affiliate, sponsors, officers, supervisors, coaches, umpires, and any parties or persons transporting my child to and from these activities, against any claim arising from an injury, whether the result of negligence or any other cause, except to the extent and in the amount covered by the accident and liability insurance.

Parent/Guardian Code of Conduct Agreement

I hereby pledge to provide positive support, care and encouragement for all children participants, coaches, other parents and umpires/refs at all practices/games and in all leagues/tournaments that involve Peyton Youth Sports:
x I will not force my child to participate in youth sports.
x I will remember that children participate to have fun and that this is for them, not me.
x I (and my guests) agree to cheer, let the coaches coach, let the umpires/refs ump/ref and let the players play.
x I agree to respect the schedules of the coaches and teammates by having my player arrive on time for practices and games and will notify my coach if my player will arrive late or not able to attend. I will pick up my child after practices/games in a timely manner.
x I (and my guests) agree to be a positive role model and will not engage in public displays of anger.
x I (and my guests) will promote good sportsmanship by respecting opposing fans, coaches, participants and umpires/refs. We will not boo, taunt or yell criticism or use profane language or gestures.
x I will teach my child to play by the rules and resolve conflicts without hostility or violence.
x I will demand and guarantee that my child treats coaches, spectators, umpires/refs and players with respect.
x I will teach my child that doing their best is more important than winning, so that my child will never feel defeated as to the outcome or personal performance.
x I will praise my child for competing fairly and trying hard.
x I (and my guests) agree to respect coaching decisions regarding playing time, position and placement and will refrain from coaching any player.
x I (and my guests) will respect the officials and abide by their judgments on the field/court. We will not engage the officials in any manner. We acknowledge that the head coach is the only person authorized to converse with the officials during the game.
x I will not approach players or coaches before, during or immediately after games with anything other than support. All questions/concerns regarding players or coaches will be addressed the day after the game (at least 24 hours after incident) in an atmosphere conductive to problem solving.
x I agree to file, in writing to the League Board of Directors complaints regarding: violation of rules, questionable conduct such as abusive behavior by a player, coach or fan and irreconcilable personality conflicts.
x I will return all league items and equipment to my player’s coach in a timely manner.
x I will help with picking up any left behind items and trash during and/or after practices and games.

My signature verifies that I have read, understand and agree to abide by this Code of Conduct. I also agree to the consequences determined by Peyton Youth Sports. I have also read and discussed with my ballplayer the Players Code of Conduct. Consequences may include removal from practice/game, suspension and/or removal from our league.


Player Code of Conduct Agreement

I pledge to be responsible for my participation by following the Player Code of Conduct of Peyton Youth Sports:
x I agree to practice good sportsmanship all times, to win without boasting, lose without excuse and never quit.
x I agree to attend and participate in all scheduled games and practices when reasonable possible.
x I will never throw my gear or any other equipment in anger and I agree to be aware of safety and will follow team and league rules to ensure safe play.
x I agree to my coach’s authority and will participate and communicate positively with my coach and teammates.
x I agree to treat fellow players, opponents, fans, coaches and umpires/refs with respect.
x I agree to exercise self-control all times, refraining from foul language or rude gestures and setting a positive example for others to follow.
x I will respect the officials and abide by their judgments on the field/court. I will not engage the officials in any manner. I acknowledge that the head coach is the only person authorized to converse with the officials during the game.
x I agree to support and encourage my teammates, and to always try my best to keep a positive attitude.
x I will help with picking up trash during and/or after practices and games
